Our history

BHJ UK is a subsidiary of BHJ - an international supplier of animal raw materials and ingredients for the food, pet food, feed, pharmaceutical and energy industries. BHJ UK consists of two independent companies, each with its own core business area.

BHJ UK Food was founded in 1996 and specialises in the procurement of meat and poultry by-products for human consumption and further processing and offers a full-service concept from slaughterhouse to customer.

BHJ UK Seafood was founded in 1980 and processes fish by-products for pet food manufacturers.

Ever since, it has been our mission to create value in the meat and fish industry by finding the right home for these by-products.
