Product level sustainability

Real transparency in terms of reporting the environmental impact of your business operations means being able to link your impact to individual product categories. To achieve that goal, BHJ will perform cradle to grave life-cycle assessments for all species processed by BHJ by end of 2023. These LCAs will include raw material extraction, recycled material, manufacturing, distribution, product use, recycling, and disposal and will be based on volume data and sector specific factors.

With this transparency, our customers will be able to:

• See GHG emissions transparency on product species level.
• Make a sustainable choice on raw material purchasing. 
• Meet end-consumer demands and requirements.
